It all started with a few nights that were too short.
In January 2023, my son Roméo was born, following a cryptic pregnancy. An arrival as unexpected as it was life-changing, which turned my daily routine upside down overnight.
The months that followed were intense. Many sleepless nights, a lot of fatigue, and I began to see the effects of this new rhythm on my face and in my body.
I then looked for solutions to reduce my under-eye bags and soothe my muscle fatigue. I tried many products, but never found anything that truly convinced me.
And then, one evening, while I was watching Frozen with my eldest daughter, it clicked: the cold.
The idea was there. Now I just had to make it work.
I started imagining, drawing, and testing. Then starting over. More than 200 prototypes and numerous trials, adjustments, and changes were necessary to reach the result I was looking for. From this work, 8 patents were finally born.
The name itself came from Nuuk, the capital of Greenland, known for its polar climate. A nod to the world of Arendelle.
Two and a half years after my son's birth, Niuk was born in turn: a product designed from a very personal experience, with a simple idea in mind: using the cold differently, in an object that is at once effective, practical, and easy to integrate into daily life.
