Niuk is currently pursuing its clinical and regulatory development with the goal of obtaining Class IIa certification. Additional studies are being conducted to document its efficacy and to ultimately assess the conditions for potential insurance coverage.
The protocol to be followed is as follows:
- Prepare the device according to the instructions and place it in the freezer for the recommended duration.
- Apply the compatible serum.
- Roll the ball over the area using continuous movements; avoid leaving the intense cold stationary on the same spot.
- Adapt the duration and pressure to the targeted area.
- Clean the ball and the parts in contact with the skin according to the instructions.
Instructions for use
The cold delivered by NiukSanté is intense (-18°C). These few recommendations allow for a comfortable and controlled session.
Massage slowly and continuously
Hold your Niuk like a pen to maintain a precise motion without excessive pressure. Roll the ball slowly and continuously over the desired area. This method allows you to take full advantage of the cold ball's contact with the skin without keeping the cold stationary in one place.
Take short breaks
Upon contact with the skin, the ball gradually warms up. When you feel that the cold is becoming less intense, pause the massage for about 2 minutes. This break allows the ball to cool down again through contact with the cold reservoir before you resume your session.
In case of serum crystallization, start without serum
After taking it out of the freezer, some serums may temporarily thicken or crystallize in the dropper. In this case, simply start your massage without serum for about 2 minutes. The product will gradually regain a texture suitable for application. You can then continue your massage with the serum.
Maintenance and cleaning
After each session, rinse the designated parts with water, particularly to remove any serum residue.
Unscrew the ring surrounding the ball: the ball, the ring, and the body can all three be cleaned with clear water.
Then dry the inside of the NiukSanté thoroughly before placing it back in the freezer. This step helps keep your device clean and ready for its next use.
